About the Book
Retirement changes everything — your schedule, your finances, your sense of purpose, and especially your marriage. When you go from seeing each other a few hours a day to being home together around the clock, the adjustments can catch even the most devoted couples off guard.
Dr. Glover Shipp writes from experience. He and his wife Margie had been married nearly six decades when this book was written, and Twice as Much Husband, Half as Much Money is the book they wished someone had handed them before retirement arrived. With candor, humor, and Scripture woven throughout, Shipp addresses the relational, spiritual, financial, and physical realities of this season — not just the numbers in a retirement account, but the whole of life that surrounds them.
This is not a financial planning guide. It is a human one.
