Description
With his usual dry wit, Glover Shipp tackles the challenges of retirement. He urges couples to make this period of life the best ever with important strategies to navigate the curves and shallows of the golden age. In 16 chapters, he deals with financial and health issues, fitness and family, caregiving and living with limitations.
Glover taps into his talents as an artist to illustrate the book with his own drawings.
Glover was a missionary in Brazil 1967-85. He has his fingers in just about every pie: journalism, writing and publishing, song-writing, painting and illustrations. He worked as Managing Editor of the Christian Chronicle and presently serves as an elder for the Edmond Church of Christ. He has written about a dozen books.
