Thanks to November prayer participants

We’d like to thank Rick Kelley, John Henson, and Michael Summers for their prayer posts as a part of the National Prayer Writing Month.

They joined the Believing Prayer website in writing daily prayers during the month of November.

This was a first-time effort, done a bit on the spur of the moment, but we hope it won’t be the last.

The effort was tagged #NaPraWriMo, inspired by secular writing projects like the National Poetry Writing Month and National Novel Writing Month.

It seeks to encourage prayer among the saints of God and perseverance in life in Christ.

Many sites host biblical studies and articles. Few focus on prayer exclusively.

On the Believing Prayer site, the prayers continue. Subscribe and join in with a hearty amen, or on the Prayer Journal page with requests and thanksgivings.

It was a great blessing to be a part of this worthy work. It was also a great blessing to read the prayers Randal, Rick and Michael had written. Others read the prayers from my blog, including several atheists. That’s a tribute to power of prayer. Thanks, Randal, for the idea and the opportunity. Let’s do it again.
