The power of a new page

A new year offers a new start. We need, now and again, a clean slate to start over. A blank page challenges us, without the clutter of previous attempts and mistakes, or even of past successes, to fresh thinking, unmarked paths, virgin territory.

The past holds important lessons, ancient wisdom, and, for Christians, eternal truths. Tethered to  those, we launch ourselves over the brink of nothingness but promise, hopes, and inspirations of things that are not yet, but can be. The mind forms the new reality, and we pursue it.

The editors and staff of Forthright Press pray for you and for us all that God may give us power to write large and wisely upon this new page, to pen volumes of sincere love and pure devotion to the Lord.

May he fulfill our best purposes in the Kingdom and every good work of faith.

  1. Hey, Randy. I’m back on the net again. We had to get Hughes net where we live. We just got it last week. More later, love, Don.
