Forthright Magazine adds three new writers with diverse columns

The editors are pleased to announce the addition of three new columnists to the slate of Forthright Magazine, reinforcing the already strong group of writers who contribute weekly to the ezine.

Scott Wiley, a former high school football and wrestling coach turned preacher, reads broadly and thinks about what he reads. Married to Elizabeth since 1979, they have 4 daughters, 3 grandchildren of their own, and have taken in others who have needed a home and family. There is no telling how many will be sitting down to supper in the Wiley home, he says. He works with the church in Cave City, Ind.

Scott writes Fridays on topics of “Ethics and Morality.

Former hard-rock musician Rick Kelley moved recently from the Prestonsburg, Ky., congregation to work with the church in Massillon, Oh. He and his wife Samantha homeschool their six children. He’s a graduate of the West Virginia School of Preaching. RIck has taken progressives to task for their specious arguments.

Rick writes Wednesdays about the words of Christ in the column, “Jesus Said.”

Jon Galloway has preached for 34 years, the last seven in East Kilbride, Scotland. He has been involved in full-time evangelist work in Scotland since 1985. Jon serves as a governor and teacher for the British Bible School and speaks frequently in the UK, particularly on the topics of Christian evidences, ethics, and worship (in particular improving our singing). He has been married to Arlene, a Scot, for 33 years, with three grown children. Jon was a speaker at last year’s Forthright Fellowship in Mt. Juliet, Tenn.

Jon writes Fridays to help with our daily Bible reading in “Bible Bytes.”

Forthright Magazine is a free online magazine seeking to draw people to Christ through spiritual edification and biblical instruction.
