Your favorite content links all in one place

The Forthright/GoSpeak team is one of the most prolific producers of spiritual and biblical content on the web. We’re grateful to work with a large and diverse group of faithful brothers and sisters in Christ.

The question is how to keep up with all that good content. Social media limits access to much content, and moving timelines and statuses can cause one to miss it.

On our website, we’ve solved that problem. Bookmark the ((feeds page)), which is updated automatically as new content by our team is published.

But don’t wait long to check back. Every day the team publishes plenty of new articles, posts, prayers, and poetry.

There’s something here for everybody.

Congregation gives Choose! book to visitors on Friends Day

choosefrontcoverpInspired by the idea of a sister who bought a whole box of Choose! books for a ladies day, a congregation in Arkansas bought a box to hand out to visitors on their Friends Day.

With a deep discount for the purchase of a box, this is a very economical option, and one that encourages people to do the will of God and make right decisions in life.

The book is an item that people will not throw away. It will remind them of your event and of the family of God who gave it, serving as a testimony for years to come.

Choose! is printed on cream paper with dark brown ink, giving it a warm feel just right for the powerful principles revealed in the book.

Contact Barbara Ann and ask about the special rate for a large quantity to make your event even more special.

Big quantity of Choose! book is gift for ladies day

choosefrontcoverpA sister in Christ in Texas bought 112 copies of the book Choose! as a gift for the participants in her congregation’s ladies day program.

That’s a whole box of books! We gave her a special rate that made it especially attractive.

Some study groups and Bible classes use this 13-chapter book with questions. But this is a novel idea, to present the book as a gift for a special program.

Contact Barbara Ann and ask about the special rate for a large quantity to make your event even more special.

Site changes ahead, necessarily

plug in to booksThe FPress website has been down for several days, apparently from hacking, again. The estore plugin we’re using is a strong suspect for having opened a hole in the security. So we’re going to replace it. More work to come.

What direction we’ll take with the site is uncertain, but we’ll work to make sure it’s a good option for you.

We take this opportunity also to pray that this year will be a blessed one in every way, and especially for doing the will of God.

A blessed Thanksgiving for you and yours

Thanksgiving DayOn behalf of the Forthright/GoSpeak team, we pray for our American friends and family in Christ a joyful Thanksgiving Day. Join us in this prayer. We share with you these Thanksgiving thoughts, Blessings in Disguise, by Paula Harrington, fresh today, as well as one of our own from back in 2003, Giving Thanks, on an old site.

For historical interest, in part, and still valid is the Thanksgiving prayer we offered four years ago, shortly after the presidential elections of 2008. Continue reading
